DSCF8191 Dmitrijs jorney in athlitcs started in 1987 with the Junior Olympic Fencing Team of Latvia participating in International Junior Olympic Games in 1992, 1993, 1994. His achievements include being a captain of the team in 1993 when the team took 2nd place and taking a personal 3rd place in 1994. In 2014 his Dream came true he continue his true passion in sport! Dmitrij  offer private sessions and tutorial lessons in foil and saber!

And unlike modern fencing it includes tactics  that would allow protection from all sides.To practice this discipline you create 360 degree movement, symmetrical body dynamics, combining classical and modern  techniques to develop awareness, balance ,agility and  real swordsmanship. Fencing provides great cardio workout, increases speed and reflexes, also teaches strategic thinking and tactical planing.  To win a bout, you need the  mind of a chess player!
